Apps That You Must Have on Windows Phone 8 or Later

Here are the list of apps that I using often on windows phone and You can try it to maximize your experience using Windows phone especially Nokia Lumia series (I'm is a Nokia Lumia user >.< ). Some apps can only be installed if You update your phone to Windows Phone 8.1 or Cyan.

1) Files

Developer: Microsoft Corporation 

Files is a free app for managing files on your Windows Phone. By using this app you can: Access files stored on your phone and SD card; Browse, search and launch files; Easily share one file or multiple files; Create folder to organise your files; Copy, move, rename and delete files.

2) App Folder

Developer: Microsoft Corporation (Exclusively for Lumia)

With this app you can gather similar apps together or keep your most used settings in one place. You can create as many app folders as you need and edit them as you go. 

3) SysApp Pusher

Developer: Amaze Pictures Inc

Check for updates of vendors exclusive applications (Nokia, Samsung, HTC) with this small but handy utility. Windows Phone prevent third party applications from accessing the list of installed applications, though it is imposible to compare installed version with the version on marketplace. so SysApp Pusher stores last checked version locally and them compare this version with version on marketplace to find update.

4) Messenger 

Developer: Facebook, inc

After FB messenger not sync with phone messaging after you update it to WP 8.1 (Cyan) you must install third party app to chat with your FB friend.

5) IM+

Developer: SHAPE GmbH

This is another messages app that supports all major IM services.

6) UC Browser

Developer: UCweb Inc

This browser can doing what IE can't do. I'm usually using this browser to insert picture/photo into FB comment, cuz until now using FB app You can't view and insert picture into comment, for download I'm also using this app than IE. If You want insert photo/picture on FB comment, first you must enable UC Browser speed mode.

7) Papyrus

Developer: Steadfast Innovation, LLC

Papyrus is a natural handwriting note-taking app that you use just like paper, but with the flexibility and advantages of modern technology. It's notebook app that very usefull.

8) 6tag

Developer: Rudy Huyn

6tag is the most full featured instagram app for Windows Phone. This app is the first powerfull instagram app on Windows Phone because official instagram app just came late on Windows Phone.

9)  ProShot

Developer: Rise Up Games 

This app can turn your Windows Phone like Digital Camera Profesional. With this app you can manually adjust: Shutter speed, ISO, White Balance, Exposure Compensation, Focus, Flash, Aspect Ratio, AF Assist Lamp. This app I use the most after Nokia Camera. Just try it and turn yourself like professional photographer.

10) Fantasia Painter

Developer: Nokola

This is the powerfull Photo/Painting app for Windows Phone. The free version is full-featured, with ads. You can buy the full version at any time to remove the ads. If you like editing your photo/picture this app is one of the best Windows Phone photo editor.

11) Fotor 

Developer: Chengdu Everimaging Science and Technology Co Ltd.

This is another photo/picture editor app that I usually use after Fantasia Painter. You can try it, It's simple but powerfull editing tools.

12)  MoliPlayer

Developer: Moli Time Technology Corporation

All-format local video & audio media player. this is the power full media player on Windows Phone, it's can play all my video collections, and can display all subtitles: embedded or separate.

App that not in the list above ie: WhatsApp, BBM, Skype,... and many more you can explore it yourself on Windows marketplace.
